MASPware GuardMobile is a security- and controlsystem for 838 Pro devices. Its a silent, hidden program, which (e.g. after a thievery) executes commands remotely initiated by the 838 Pro owner.

Imaging, your cellular 838 Pro has been stolen. What can you do now?

• You can initiate an alarm and lock the 838 Pro
• You can locate your 838 Pro (GPS receiver is required)
• If your stolen 838 Pro contains top secret data, you can do a hardreset remotely to erase all data! (Use carfully!)
• You can initiate a callback to overhear the thief

How does GuardMobile work?

The 838 Pro owner installs and configures GuardMobile. He sets an arbitrary 838 Pro PIN and adds cellular numbers, which can control this 838 Pro, to totally prevent abuse. After activation, the program stays "silently" in background until its asked to do some action.

Since every 838 Pro supports SMS nowadays, the whole communication is done via SMS, which means you can control your 838 Pro using any other cellular 838 Pro (no 838 Pro required!). No internet access is necessary. The 838 Pro replies all actions with a confirmation SMS.
